Public speaking can be a nervous time for anyone, and the first-tee announcer at The Honda Classic demonstrated Saturday how horribly things can go when the jitters kick in.
Luke Donald was on the tee, but the announcer mistakenly referred to the former world No. 1 as "Luke McDonald."
That wasn't the only blunder, though, as he also said Donald was the 2016 champion when the Englishman actually won the event a decade earlier in 2006. To make matters worse, he then mispronounced Donald's hometown of High Wycombe.
Luke McDonald!!!!

such disrespect for the former world No. 1. also won in 2006, not 2016. pic.twitter.com/Bawu9hmckG
Fortunately, Donald was a good sport and able to laugh it off.
"Other than pronouncing my hometown wrong, getting the year I won The Honda incorrect, and getting my name wrong, the announcer nailed it!!!" Donald joked on Instagram.
He added the hashtag "CallMeRonald" with the burger and fries emojis.
Is anyone else craving a Big Mac now?
