Brooks Koepka improved his total by 10 strokes Sunday after shooting 81 in Round 3, but he remained unhappy with how he closed the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
"Still shit," Koepka said of his final-round performance compared to Saturday's play, according to Golf Digest's Brian Wacker. "Still shit. Putting better."
When told he probably wasn't allowed to say that to the media, Koepka responded: "Well, fine me."
The world No. 3 managed to card five birdies Sunday but erased the majority of those gains with two double-bogeys that bookended his round. He finished the week well outside the top 40 at 9-over par.
Koepka, 29, has now carded eight consecutive rounds of 70 or worse on the PGA Tour heading into The Players Championship.
