Phil Mickelson generated some buzz Sunday night with golf on pause.
Mickelson made waves when he sent a cryptic reply to a Twitter user who asked for a one-on-one match between Lefty and Tiger Woods.
Mickelson appeared to double down when asked if he was serious.
Mickelson and Woods previously faced off in "The Match" in November 2018 at Shadow Creek in Las Vegas. The televised event included a $9-million prize for the winner, and Mickelson took the title from his old-time rival in a playoff.
The PGA Tour has been on pause since the cancellation of The Players Championship earlier in March. All events through May 17, including the Masters and PGA Championship, have been either canceled or postponed.
