The PGA Tour plans to restart its season June 11 after halting due to the coronavirus pandemic. Each day until then, we'll highlight key moments, people, or facts relating to where we are in the countdown.

Jordan Spieth's two-shot lead over Matt Kuchar at the 2017 Open Championship at Royal Birkdale vanished after playing the front nine of the final round at 3-over.

Deadlocked with Kuchar on the 13th tee, Spieth's errant drive led to one of the most generous drops in golf history, one that involved the driving range and a variety of Tour trucks.

Even though Spieth made bogey on No. 13 to fall one off the lead, his fortunate break sparked a sensational closing stretch that included three birdies and this 50-foot eagle putt on No. 15:

"Go get that!" Spieth yelled out to his caddie, Michael Greller, at the height of the crowd's eruption.

The massive eagle put the then-23-year-old back into the outright lead, which he held onto for the wire-to-wire victory and third major title of his career. Spieth joined Jack Nicklaus as the only players to win three legs of the career grand slam prior to the age of 24.

In a surprise to nearly everyone in the golf world, Spieth hasn't earned another victory since hoisting the Claret Jug in 2017.
