13 days until golf: Garcia implodes during title defense at 2018 Masters

Sergio Garcia recreated the famous scene from "Tin Cup" at the 2018 Masters.

A year after a final-round approach shot into No. 15 set up an eagle and helped the Spaniard earn his first major championship, Garica took a 13 on the par 5 during Round 1 of his title defense.

He dunked five balls into the water, four of which came from the same spot with a wedge in his hand. For some reason, Garcia wouldn't change his strategy as the ball was clearly spinning too much and rolling into the water.

Garcia's 13 tied the record for largest score on a single hole in Masters history. He carded rounds of 81 and 78 to miss the cut by 10 shots but had to wait around on the weekend to eventually award the green jacket to Patrick Reed.
