Jon Rahm was assessed a two-stroke penalty after he won the Memorial Tournament once it was revealed his ball moved prior to an incredible hole out on the Par-3 16th, according to Golf Channel's Rex Hoggard.
Here's the shot, which Rahm executed perfectly for what he thought was a birdie.
Upon further review, though, camera crews noticed Rahm's ball just barely moved as he set up for his shot.
As he walked off the course to celebrate his fourth career win and moving into the No. 1 spot in the official world rankings, Rahm was informed the shot was being reviewed.
The controversy proved to be inconsequential, as Rahm still comfortably claimed the victory over Ryan Palmer, winning by three strokes rather than five.
