Grayson Murray revealed Sunday on social media he has tested positive for COVID-19, becoming the seventh known PGA Tour player to do so.
Murray, who did not play in last week's Memorial Tournament, started experiencing symptoms Friday and was quickly tested prior to departing for this week's 3M Open in Minnesota.
He will self-isolate at home and follow the PGA Tour's guidelines for players who test positive.
The 26-year-old has played in three PGA Tour events since the season restarted in June. He missed the cut twice before withdrawing from the Workday Charity Open with a back injury.
Murray is the first player to test positive since Chad Campbell, who withdrew from the Rocket Mortgage Classic on June 30.
