English part of 4-way tie atop Northern Trust after Round 1
Harris English shot a 7-under 64 on Thursday morning at TPC Boston for a share of the lead with Kevin Streelman, Cameron Davis, and Russell Henley at The Northern Trust.
English, who ranks fifth in strokes gained: total since the PGA Tour restart in June, got off to a blazing start with an eagle and two birdies through his first four holes. He added another five birdies to his card - offset by two bogeys - to secure his eventual share of the 18-hole lead.
Davis reached 8-under par but bogeyed his penultimate hole to drop back into a tie for first.
Henley capped his bogey-free performance in style by going birdie-eagle on Nos. 17 and 18.
