Dustin Johnson withdrew from this week's AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-AM, the PGA Tour announced Tuesday.
"Following his successful week in Saudi Arabia, Dustin has decided it would be best to enjoy a week at home before The Genesis Invitational and the World Golf Championships at The Concession," Johnson's agent, David Winkle, said.
The world No. 1 was the overwhelming favorite to win the tournament in California because it's lacking significant star power this year.
Johnson won the European Tour's Saudi International on Sunday. His last start on North American soil resulted in a tie for 11th at the Sentry Tournament of Champions.
