Rory McIlroy's cuts-made streak on the PGA Tour is coming to an end.
The Northern Irishman posted a 73-76 at Riviera Country Club to find himself heading home early for the first time since the 2019 Open Championship.
McIlroy led the Tour with 25 consecutive made cuts. Xander Schauffele now holds the longest active streak with 22.
McIlroy struggled in nearly every aspect of the game, ranking outside the top 90 in the field in strokes gained: approach, around the green, and putting. It's his first missed cut at the Genesis Invitational in five appearances.
Justin Thomas and Bryson DeChambeau also missed the cut at Riviera.
