Danny Willett withdrew from The Players Championship on Tuesday after testing positive for COVID-19, the PGA Tour announced.
Kramer Hickok will replace the former Masters champion.
Willett finished tied for 31st last week at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. He was set to make his sixth appearance at The Players, where he's never made the cut in his career.
The Englishman becomes the first player to test positive on the PGA Tour since Padraig Harrington withdrew from the Pebble Beach Pro-Am in mid-February.
