The course
TPC Craig Ranch is a 7,468-yard par 72 that hasn't hosted a PGA TOUR-sanctioned event since the 2012 Web.com Tour finals.
Since the course is brand new on the main circuit, there is very little history to examine to gauge how it may play. However, Colt Knost, who finished tied for third at the course in 2008, provided some insight.
Will Zalatoris, who grew up playing tournaments at TPC Craig Ranch, echoed Knost's insight.
"I think the biggest defense of this place really is the wind, Zalatoris said, according to ASAP Sports. "Typically, when I've played here, it's fairly wide open, it's very long, especially when you have Zoysia grass, the ball doesn't roll very far. Getting weather as well is going to slow down the ball off the tee, so it's going to benefit a lot of the longer hitters."
