Sungjae Im and Si Woo Kim have withdrawn from The Open to prepare for the Olympics in Tokyo, according to The Associated Press.
Both golfers are the male qualifiers for South Korea's team. If they win a medal, they are exempt from mandatory two-year military service.
Im is the 26th-ranked player in the world. The 23-year-old was runner-up at the Masters in November and has one career victory. Kim is ranked 50th and has three wins. His most notable title came at The Players in 2017.
The two South Koreans are being replaced in The Open field by Keegan Bradley and Emiliano Grillo.
The Tokyo Olympics are scheduled to begin July 23.
