Last year's result

Patrick Cantlay won an exciting playoff over Collin Morikawa to claim his second Memorial victory last year. However, the tournament is probably best remembered for Jon Rahm's withdrawal - the Spaniard had a commanding six-stroke lead Saturday before having to drop out due to a positive COVID-19 test.
Scottie Scheffler - who was still searching for his first TOUR win - finished third at 11-under, two shots back of Cantlay and Morikawa. Branden Grace finished at 10-under, while Patrick Reed placed fifth at 8-under.
