Homa: 'Money cannot buy' feeling on 18th hole at Presidents Cup

Max Homa has made it clear that being a member of the U.S. Presidents Cup team means a lot to him, and on Friday, he had a moment he'll never forget.

Homa's four-ball match with partner Billy Horschel During Day 2 at Quail Hollow came down to the last hole against the Canadian pairing of Corey Conners and Taylor Pendrith.

The Americans entered the par-4 18th with a 1-up lead and just needed to tie the hole to secure a whole point in the match. Pendrith made birdie for the Internationals, so after Horschel made par, it was up to Homa to drain his putt to win the match - and the Presidents Cup rookie came through.

"When we talk about things money can't buy, money cannot buy that feeling (on the 18th green), and that was something that I will remember forever, and I will tell anybody who ever wants to hear how that felt," Homa said after his round, according to CBS Sports' Kyle Porter.

Homa was a captain's pick of Davis Love III this year, and after winning the Fortinet Championship in California last week, Homa admitted to having a chip on his shoulder for being told he was only chosen as a result of LIV players leaving the TOUR.

Homa is now 2-0-0 in his matches this week at Quail Hollow.
