Lowry's odds imply a winning probability of 35.1%, while Scheffler's equates to a 23.5% chance of winning. The Irishman was priced at +4500 before Round 1, much longer than Scheffler's +500.

Justin Rose and Daniel Brown, who share second place, are +725 and +2000, respectively.

Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay trail Lowry by six shots but sit fourth and fifth on the betting board, a sign of respect from oddsmakers.

Saturday's weather forecast looks calm compared to Rounds 1 and 2, meaning there could be some low scores to help chasers narrow the gap.
