Craig, Kevin Stadler will become 1st father-son duo to play at the Masters
The Masters will be extra special for one particular PGA family: Craig and Kevin Stadler will become the first father and son duo to play at the same Masters tournament.
Craig Stadler won the tournament in 1982 and his son Kevin, who turned pro in 2002, has started to make some noise in the PGA after winning his the Waste Management Open in February, which was his first on the tour.
Craig told reporters that he has a different focus than his son at the tournament.
"I'm just going to be out there slashing around, trying to make the cut and he's going to be trying to win the golf tournament," he said. "In that regard it's a little bit different."
As the first father-son pair to compete in the same Masters Tournament, the work has already been done to make history.
