Adam Scott is golf's new world No. 1

Australia's Adam Scott is the top-ranked golfer in the world.
Golf's world rankings were updated Monday morning, and Scott jumped Tiger Woods, who's been out of action since undergoing surgery to correct his ailing back.
Scott is the second Australian to ever hold the top spot, and the 17th golfer to do so. Here's the company he joins:

It's tight atop the current rankings, with the top five golfers "currently separated by less than one average point."
Monday's updated rankings saw Woods drop to No. 2, Henrik Stenson stay at three, and Matt Kuchar and Bubba Watson swap spots four and five.
