3 of 4 majors won by Europeans for 1st time on PGA Tour

For the first time in PGA Tour history, three of the four majors were won by European players. Bubba Watson was the only American to win a major (The Masters) this year.

Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy won both the British Open and PGA Championship, while Germany's Martin Kaymer won the U.S. Open.
In 2011, South Africa's Louis Oosthuizen won the Masters, McIlroy won the U.S. Open, Northern Ireland's Darren Clarke won the British Open, and American Keegan Bradley won the PGA Championship.
