GOLD COAST, Australia - Golfer Adam Scott and his wife, Marie Kojzar, are expecting their first child in February.
Scott, who married Kojzar in a private ceremony in the backyard of their home in the Bahamas in April, confirmed the pending birth Friday at the Australian PGA, where he was two strokes from the lead after two rounds.
Scott is defending his Australian PGA title at Royal Pines on Queensland's Gold Coast, his third tournament in four weeks. He plans to take nearly two months off and return to the U.S. PGA Tour in February - with the couple's new arrival.
Scott says ''I'm just going to wing it ... I don't know if I'm prepared but certainly there are plenty of guys out there to lean on if I have any problems.''
