Tiger Woods finishes with his lowest 72-hole score of 2015 at Greenbrier Classic
Tiger Woods may finally have some momentum.
With the Open Championship just two weeks away at St. Andrews - the famous course where he won in both 2000 and 2005 - Woods posted his first bogey-free round in nearly two years on the final day of play at the Greenbrier Classic in West Virginia.
Starting Sunday seven shots behind the leaders and effectively out of contention, Woods managed to make a bit of a charge with three birdies through his first 12 holes, but could not convert any of the five birdie putt opportunities he had the rest of the way.

The 14-time major champion would head to the clubhouse with a 3-under round of 67 to finish the tournament at 7-under.
Though some clutch putting could have taken him higher up the leaderboard, his solid (and consistent) week should have fans optimistic about his chances to contend at the Old Course.

Woods was asked by reporters following his round whether this week would be a turning point for his year, but he insisted instead that the turning point was his career-worst 85 at the Memorial Tournament.
The 39-year-old also seems hardly bothered by the social media criticism he has faced throughout his difficult year.
