VIDEO: Sir Nick Faldo birdies 17th hole during his final round at St. Andrews
On Thursday, Nick Faldo shot a disappointing 11-over 83 in the opening round of what is the last appearance on The Old Course of his career.
His final round at St. Andrews went much better, posting a 1-under 71 that included this birdie putt on the 17th hole – which saw no birdies on the first day.

On the way to the 18th green, Faldo posed for a photo on the Swilcan Bridge, donning the sweater he wore when he won his first major at Muirfield in 1987. The 57-year-old also won The Open at St. Andrews in 1990 and again at Muirfield in 1992.

With Faldo finishing at 10-over par, Sports Illustrated's Alan Shipnuck asked an interesting question to remember as Friday's play continues.
Serious question: Does Tiger beat Faldo?
