Tiger Woods turned in another solid round Sunday at the Quicken Loans National, firing an up-and-down 3-under 68 to wrap his tournament at 8-under.
Woods played himself out of contention Saturday, dropping three strokes after rounds of 68 and 66 to open the tournament, but finished strong, and is feeling good about the state of his game.
"My short game is starting to come back to where it used to be. Everything is kind of trending in the correct direction now," he told reporters.
"I'm hitting the ball up there with some of the bigger guys again," he added.
Quicken Loans will represent his best result since finishing in a tie for 17th at the Masters.
