What just happened?

Manchester City thought they'd punched their ticket to the Champions League semifinals when Raheem Sterling swung a left-footed effort past Hugo Lloris after 93 minutes on Wednesday.

But it wasn't to be. The goal was chalked off on a debatable offside call, meaning Tottenham Hotspur will face Ajax in the final four. The second leg finished 4-4 on aggregate, with Spurs advancing on away goals.
