The Oakland Athletics are promoting top prospects Tyler Soderstrom and Zack Gelof, a source told MLB.com's Martin Gallegos.
The pair will join the A's for their series opener against the Minnesota Twins at the Coliseum on Friday.
Soderstrom is Oakland's No. 1-ranked prospect, according to MLB Pipeline.
The 21-year-old catcher and first baseman was selected by the A's with the 26th pick in the 2020 entry draft. He's played well at Triple-A Las Vegas this season, posting an .838 OPS with 20 home runs, 15 doubles, and 59 RBIs in 69 games.
Gelof, 23, is Oakland's No. 3-ranked prospect, according to MLB Pipeline.
The infielder, who primarily plays second base but can slide over to third, slashed .304/.401/.529 with 12 homers, 44 RBIs, and 20 steals at Triple-A.
The University of Virginia graduate was selected in the second round of the 2021 draft by the A's.
