Quarterback Conner Weigman won't start Texas A&M's contest versus Florida on Saturday after being a game-time decision. He'll be available as the emergency backup, while freshman Marcel Reed will lead the offense.

Weigman was limited in practice all week with an upper-body injury, according to Pete Thamel of ESPN. Texas A&M listed him as questionable on the SEC injury report earlier in the week.

Reed took most of the first-team snaps in practice this week, Thamel adds. He entered last week's victory over McNeese State and totaled 114 yards.

The former four-star recruit also played in the Texas Bowl last season against Oklahoma State, completing 20 of 33 passes for 361 yards with 29 yards and a score on the ground.

Weigman struggled in his first two starts of the season, racking up 225 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
