Boston Red Sox manager Alex Cora didn't last an inning during the first game of Sunday's doubleheader with the Minnesota Twins.

The skipper was ejected from the game with one out in the first inning after a fiery exchange with umpires caused by an interference call on infielder Vaughn Grissom during a pickoff attempt.

Cora was clearly upset with the outcome and voiced his opinion of the call before angrily running toward second base to demonstrate what Grissom did.

At one point, umpire Alan Porter had to get in the way of Cora, who was stomping toward second-base umpire Dan Merzel.

The manager acknowledged the umpires got the call right following Boston's 8-1 win in Game 1, but he also took exception to how the situation was handled, according to the Boston Herald's Mac Cerullo.

Cora, who had been ejected twice entering Sunday, is eligible to manage Game 2 of the doubleheader.
