Toronto Raptors rookie Ja'Kobe Walter re-sprained his right AC joint and will be re-evaluated in a week, the team announced Friday.

Walter suffered the injury in the third quarter of Wednesday's loss to the Sacramento Kings. He also missed the season's first five games with a right AC joint sprain after sustaining the injury during workouts leading up to training camp.

The 20-year-old has appeared in four contests this campaign, making his NBA debut Nov. 1 against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Raptors guard is averaging 2.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 0.8 assists while shooting 18.8% from the field.

The Raptors drafted Walter with the No. 19 overall pick in 2024. He posted 14.5 points per game and shot 34.1% from beyond the arc in his lone collegiate season at Baylor.

Toronto sits 14th in the Eastern Conference with a 2-7 record. The injury bug has bitten the team, with Scottie Barnes, Immanuel Quickley, Bruce Brown, and Kelly Olynyk sidelined.

The Raptors will look to end a two-game losing streak Saturday versus the Los Angeles Clippers.
