Stars, Oskar Back agree to 2-year extension

The Dallas Stars and forward Oskar Back agreed to a two-year extension through the 2026-27 season that carries an annual average value of $825,000, the team announced Thursday.

The 24-year-old rookie has tallied one goal and eight assists over 31 games this season.

Back was originally selected in the third round of the 2018 NHL Draft.

The Swede scored 19 goals and added 69 assists over three seasons in the AHL.
