West Virginia stunned No. 2 Iowa State on Saturday, collecting a 64-57 victory and snapping the latter's national-best 12-game win streak.

Javon Small powered the Mountaineers with a game-high 27 points to go along with seven rebounds, five assists, and four steals. It was the Cyclones' second loss of the season and their lowest point total of the campaign.

Curtis Jones led the Cyclones in scoring, contributing 18 points on 50% shooting.

Three-point shooting proved to be the difference Saturday: Iowa State shot just 1-of-7 from the beyond the arc, while West Virginia went 9-of-27. The Mountaineers also collected 19 points on fast breaks and forced the Cyclones into 14 turnovers.

This is the third time West Virginia has defeated a top-10 team this campaign - the program also beat former No. 3 Gonzaga and No. 7 Kansas earlier this year.

Iowa State will look to bounce back against UCF on Tuesday, the same day West Virginia takes on Arizona State.
