The 2025 NBA Draft will again be held over two nights.

Brooklyn's Barclays Center will host the draft's first round on June 25, followed by the second round on June 26, the league announced Tuesday. Both rounds begin at 8 p.m. ET and will be broadcast by ESPN.

The NBA switched to a two-day draft for the first time in 2024 after always holding the event over one night. In explaining the reason for the switch during the 2024 All-Star Weekend, Commissioner Adam Silver said teams informed him they had begun placing more importance on second-round picks, necessitating a longer assessment period after the first round. He also said he found it "silly" to be announcing picks past midnight with everything packed into one evening.

Duke star forward Cooper Flagg is widely projected to be the No. 1 pick in June. With the three worst winning percentages in the NBA, the Washington Wizards, Utah Jazz, and New Orleans Pelicans are currently tied for the best odds of landing the top selection in the draft lottery, which has yet to be scheduled.
