The Minnesota Twins signed left-hander Danny Coulombe to a one-year contract, the team announced.

Coulombe's pact is for $3 million and includes performance bonuses, a source told MLB.com's Mark Feinsand.

Coulombe should provide the Twins with another left-handed option in what's shaping up to be a strong bullpen for Minnesota.

The 35-year-old reliever returns to Minnesota after spending the 2020-22 campaigns with the Twins.

Coulombe pitched the past two seasons with the Baltimore Orioles, authoring a 2.56 ERA, 2.83 FIP, and 10.0 K/9 in 94 appearances.

The pitcher represents the first major-league free-agent signing by the Twins this offseason.
