2025 NBA All-Star Game is 2nd-least watched ever
The NBA's viewership decline continued during the 2025 NBA All-Star Game.
Sunday's midseason showcase attracted an average of 4.7 million viewers across TNT platforms, down 13% from 2024, according to Ryan Glasspiegel of Front Office Sports. It ranks as the second-least watched All-Star Game in NBA history behind the 2023 event, which averaged 4.6 million viewers.

The NBA introduced a new format for the 2025 All-Star Game, opting for a four-team tournament over the traditional East versus West setup. Three of the teams were drafted by NBA on TNT analysts Charles Barkley, Shaquille O'Neal, and Kenny Smith, while the fourth squad was the Rising Stars team that won Friday's tournament.
Shaq's OGs won this year's game, defeating Chuck's Global Stars 41-25 in the final despite missing a player after LeBron James was a late scratch.
