Free-agent wide receiver Hunter Renfrow wants to return to the NFL after sitting out the 2024 season, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero.

Renfrow is visiting the Las Vegas Raiders on Friday and spent Wednesday with the Carolina Panthers, Rapoport adds.

The 29-year-old played the first five years of his career with the Raiders after being selected in the fifth round of the 2019 draft. His best season came in 2021 when he totaled 103 receptions on 128 targets for 1,038 yards and nine touchdowns.

He earned a two-year, $32-million extension after the career campaign but was released by Las Vegas to save cap space following the 2023 season.

The Raiders' best weapon is tight end Brock Bowers. They could use depth at wide receiver behind Jakobi Meyers and Tre Tucker. Carolina's leading receiver in 2024, Adam Thielen, will return next season after considering retirement. The Panthers also have 2024 first-round pick Xavier Legette and Jalen Coker behind Thielen.

Renfrow has 2,884 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns in 73 career contests.
