North Carolina guard and former five-star prospect Ian Jackson entered the transfer portal, sources told ESPN's Jeff Borzello.
Jackson was the Tar Heels' premier prospect in the 2024 recruiting class, ranking seventh on the ESPN 100. The 6-foot-4 guard also received offers from Bryant, Kansas State, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Seton Hall, St. John's, and UConn.
Jackson finished second on North Carolina in scoring with 11.9 points per game while adding 3.6 assists, 3.4 rebounds, and a steal.
The Tar Heels ended the season with a 23-14 record, ranking fourth in the ACC. They lost in the first round to No. 6 Ole Miss.
