Duke guard Tyrese Proctor is declaring for the NBA draft, the school announced Friday.

Proctor confirmed he was moving on from the Blue Devils following three seasons with the program, a run coinciding with the start of Jon Scheyer's coaching career after he succeeded Hall of Famer Mike Krzyzewski.

"It's been an incredible ride with Tyrese Proctor. ... 89 wins he's impacted for our program," Scheyer said in a video posted by the school. "Really, came here at a time when he's playing for a guy that had never been a head coach before. And to see him this season, the way he shot the ball, and the way he defended, in particular, was as high of a level as any guard in the country."

The 6-foot-6 Australian started 38 games for the Blue Devils as a junior, averaging 12.4 points, three rebounds, and 2.2 assists while shooting 40.5% on 5.8 attempted threes per contest.

Proctor is widely projected to be a second-round pick, though he could garner late first-round consideration.

He's the second Duke player to enter the draft this week following freshman Kon Knueppel. Blue Devils teammate Cooper Flagg is all but guaranteed to be taken first overall June 25, although the touted forward has yet to officially declare.
