The New York Mets and left-handed reliever Brooks Raley agreed to a one-year contract with a team option for the 2026 season, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports.

Raley's agreement is pending a physical. He's currently rehabbing after undergoing Tommy John surgery last May.

The 36-year-old spent the 2023 and 2024 seasons with the Mets, posting a 2.48 ERA and 70 strikeouts across 61 2/3 innings.

Raley has been excellent against left-handed hitters throughout his seven-year career, holding them to a .191 batting average and .556 OPS.
