Devin Haney stepped into the ring for the first time in 13 months and earned a lackluster victory over Jose Ramirez, winning via unanimous decision Friday in New York City's Times Square.

The judges scored the fight 119-109, 119-109, and 118-110 in Haney's favor.

Haney, the former undisputed lightweight champion and former WBC junior welterweight champion, is back in the win column following a no-contest against Ryan Garcia in April 2024.

He didn't conduct a postfight interview after the win over Ramirez.

Haney controlled the action in Friday's co-main event, though there were very few significant moments or drama. Haney outlanded Ramirez 70-40 in total punches.

With the victory, the 26-year-old San Francisco native is now 32-0 (1 NC) as a professional. Haney's megafight against Garcia last year was originally ruled a majority decision loss - the first of his career - but it was overturned to a no-contest after Garcia failed multiple drug tests.

Ramirez, a former unified junior welterweight titleholder, has now lost two straight.
