The NBA made history Sunday following the first seven-team trade in league history.

A series of transactions that occurred before the NBA draft last month were combined following the conclusion of the league's annual moratorium on business Sunday, according to ESPN's Tim Bontemps.

Seven clubs swapped six players, 13 draft picks, and cash considerations in the unprecedented transaction. The Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets, Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Phoenix Suns are involved in the historic deal.

Kevin Durant, the centerpiece of the massive, complex deal, will become a member of the Houston Rockets. Durant, a future Hall of Famer, was traded by the Suns to the Rockets in exchange for Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, the No. 10 pick in last month's draft (Khaman Maluach), and five second-round picks.

The Durant trade, along with several other transactions, couldn't be finalized until Sunday, when the league's moratorium ended and the salaries could be counted toward the 2025-26 league calendar to satisfy cap requirements.

Phoenix selected forward Rasheer Fleming and guard Koby Brea with two of its second-round choices.

Houston signed center Clint Capela for his second stint with the team before the deal for Durant was completed. Capela spent six campaigns with the franchise before playing with the Hawks for the past five seasons.
