The Miami Dolphins signed defensive tackle Zach Sieler to a three-year extension worth up to $67.75 million and $44 million guaranteed, his agents confirmed to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Sieler had two years remaining on his contract and is now the highest-paid defensive player on the Dolphins.
A seventh-round draft pick of the Baltimore Ravens in 2018, Sieler was claimed off waivers in 2019 and became a starter in 2022. He posted 10-sack seasons the past two years.
The Dolphins had a top-10 scoring defense last campaign but traded Jalen Ramsey to the Pittsburgh Steelers and lost Jevon Holland to the New York Giants in free agency.
Miami missed the playoffs last season with an 8-9 record. The team hasn't won a postseason contest since 2000.
