Europe finalizes Ryder Cup squad with captain Donald's picks
Luke Donald made his six captain's picks for Europe's Ryder Cup squad Monday, with the reigning champions featuring virtually the same team that dominated the United States in Italy in 2023.
Here's the full roster. The first six players automatically qualified by the points ranking system.

Tommy Fleetwood (England) | 7-3-2 |
Justin Rose (England) | 14-9-3 |
Rasmus Hojgaard (Denmark) | N/A |

The only newcomer is Hojgaard. His twin brother, Nicolai, was on the team in 2023.
Europe won the most recent edition of the biannual event 16.5-11.5 but hasn't been victorious on American soil since 2012.
"Well, if they're not ready then it's my fault," Donald said, per Sky Sports. "We're spending 20 months trying to get them ready for this. We understand it's going to be a hugely tough environment. New Yorkers bring the noise, they bring the energy. But again, I feel like our players will be ready for that."
The Ryder Cup begins Sept. 26 at Bethpage Black in New York.
