Turnovers mar LeBron's triple-double performance: 'It's disgusting'

LeBron James notched a rare quadruple-double Friday night at Quicken Loans Arena, but not one he - or anyone else, for that matter - would necessarily want.

In 40 minutes of action, James scored a game-high 26 points on 11-of-17 shooting, grabbed 10 rebounds, and dished out 11 assists for his eighth triple-double of the campaign and 63rd of his career as the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the visiting Indiana Pacers 115-108 to avoid the season sweep.

What put James' line in quadruple-double territory was his career-high 11 turnovers, and suffice it to say, The King was none too impressed with his lack of ball control on this night.

"It's disgusting," said James in his post-game interview. "At times, I feel like I'm overpassing. Trying to get my teammates involved. Overpassing, and I have a couple of times where I can actually look at the rim and put some more pressure on the defense.

"It's a nice quadruple-double in the wrong way. At the end of the day, I'll take the win, but the turnovers are uncalled for."

The most turnovers in a single game since 2000 is 14 from Phoenix Suns guard and former Milwaukee Bucks head coach Jason Kidd.

James is now averaging 4.5 turnovers per game through 47 appearances, which is tied for second in the Association with Russell Westbrook and behind DeMarcus Cousins (5).
