Houston came into the NCAA tournament looking to make an impact after an eight-year absence, and despite the team's heartbreaking loss to Michigan on a buzzer-beating 3-pointer, Rob Gray certainly did his part to lead the charge.

The Cougars guard put himself in some elite company Saturday, as his 62 points in the first two games of the tournament were the most since Steph Curry posted 70 for Davidson in 2008.

Gray made the most of his senior season, averaging 19.2 points, 4.4 assists, and 3.5 rebounds on 45 percent shooting.
