Fox News misrepresents images of Eagles praying as protests; Ertz outraged

In its Tuesday morning coverage of the Philadelphia Eagles, Fox News used images of players praying on a knee before games as evidence they were kneeling during the national anthem.

President Donald Trump rescinded the Eagles' invitation to the White House on Monday after realizing no more than 10 players planned to show up. While some Eagles players did participate in demonstrations during the national anthem last season, none of them took a knee during it.

Some of the images used predate the 2017 season - one photo includes wide receiver Jordan Matthews, who played for the Buffalo Bills last year.

Outraged by the wrongful use of the images, Eagles tight end Zach Ertz called out Fox News for spewing "propaganda."

The Eagles were originally scheduled to visit the White House on Tuesday.
