Khabib submits McGregor in 4th before chaos ensues around Octagon
The King is dead, long live the King.
Khabib Nurmagomedov retained his UFC lightweight title by submitting Conor McGregor with a rear-naked choke in the fourth round of Saturday's UFC 229 main event in Las Vegas.

Moments after the fight finished, chaos erupted as Nurmagomedov jumped the cage and seemingly attacked McGregor's corner. Meanwhile, two people from Khabib's team jumped into the Octagon and threw punches at McGregor.
Nurmagomedov's antics will likely overshadow what was a dominant performance from the Dagestani fighter. He kept McGregor on the mat for most of the first round and punished him with brutal ground-and-pound in the second.
McGregor bounced back to take the third but was unable to continue the momentum in the fourth as Nurmagomedov rode his elite grappling to victory.
