Watch: Higuain breaks 66-year-old Serie A scoring record with overhead kick
Step aside, Gunnar Nordahl. Gonzalo Higuain has no equals.
It took 66 years, but the late AC Milan striker's record of 35 goals in a 20-team Serie A season was surpassed Saturday when Napoli superstar Higuain netted a hat trick against Frosinone, taking his tally to 36 on the campaign and topping the Swede's legendary output from the 1949-50 season.
And what a way to do it, as the Argentine completed his trio of goals at the San Paolo with a stunning overhead kick.

Though the campaign ultimately ends in disappointment for Napoli after seeing what seemed to be a legitimate title challenge fall by the wayside - Juventus captured a fifth consecutive crown by nine points - Higuain's remarkable personal achievement will be etched in league history.
