Leeds' Giuseppe Bellusci joins Empoli on season-long loan

Leeds United is ridding itself of Giuseppe Bellusci for at least one season, and perhaps forever.
On Friday, Bellusci returned to his homeland due to "family reasons," joining Empoli on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent move.
The 26-year-old joined Leeds from Calcio Catania in 2014 and went on to make 61 appearances for the English club. During his time at Elland Road, however, he became hated by supporters to the point that he was described as a "poison" by one editor and "notoriously disrespectful to coaches, antagonistic in the dressing room" by one fan.
Bellusci was, as I understood, the biggest earner at #LUFC too, so huge savings made on his alleged £16k a week deal

It's safe to say Bellusci will not be missed at Leeds.
