Verratti focused on winning with PSG amid interest from Italian clubs
Marco Verratti claims that he's content with life at Paris Saint-Germain in an effort to allay reports that he could be edging towards a transfer away from the French capital.
The midfielder faced questions about his PSG future a day after his agent, Donato Di Campli, hinted at a possible move away from the Ligue 1 champions when Italian clubs were revealed to have expressed an interest in the 24-year-old.
Di Campli mentioned Inter Milan as a possible destination considering the club's wealthy new owners, but Verratti insisted that he's focused on helping PSG succeed rather than what the future holds beyond this season.
"I take things day by day and am trying to win as much as possible with this club," Verratti told Rai Sport, as translated by Jonathan Johnson of ESPN FC.
"We dream of winning everything and we are still in the hunt for all our objectives. We will give it the best we can because we want to do better than we did last year."
Nonetheless, Verratti, whose contract runs until 2021, added that he likely won't end his career with PSG.
