Genoa's Rincon completes medical ahead of Juventus transfer

Juventus is on the verge of adding to its midfield depth with the impending arrival of Tomas Rincon from Genoa.
The club announced Thursday that Rincon inched closer to his proposed transfer by completing a medical.

In a brief statement, Juventus revealed that Rincon will put pen to paper on a contract later in the day:
Checking in at the club's J|Medical facility shortly after 09.00 CET, the (28-year-old) was rigorously put through his paces before being officially signed off in the middle of the afternoon.
The Venezuelan national team captain, who's set to become Juve's first signing of the January transfer window, has appeared in 16 of Genoa's opening 18 matches in Serie A during the first half of the season.
