Higuain hits 200-goal milestone to push Juventus closer to another title
Gonzalo Higuain can't stop scoring in pairs at the moment.
Juventus' leading scorer recorded yet another brace on Saturday - his third in the last four matches in all competitions - to lead the Bianconeri to a 2-0 victory over lowly Pescara.
His first on the day, a simple finish after some impressive work from Juan Cuadrado down the right wing, saw the hefty Argentine reach a notable personal milestone, the tally marking his 200th in Europe's top-five leagues.
Higuain, 29, scored 107 La Liga goals for Real Madrid, hit 71 for Napoli in Serie A, and now has 23 for Juventus since his contentious summer move from the Partenopei.
Given his recent form, it seems like Higuain won't be stuck on 201 top-flight strikes for very long.
Juventus, now looking ahead to Wednesday's Champions League clash with Barcelona, sits eight points clear of second-place Roma in Serie A.
